In memory of Lu Harvey

Our friend and colleague Lu Harvey passed away on Sunday 26 February 2012. Words can't express what she meant to us or the loss we now feel. She was an amazing, unique person. We only wish more of you had been able to meet her in person.

We have set up a fundraising page for the Big C cancer charity in her memory. Please do consider donating.

With your support we will carry on and do great things, because that is what she would have wanted.

Loosing a Friend is always painful... our only Hope is, it was a Release for her.
Another Hope is, that we can meet our Friends again later. That's my Hope with my gone Friends... and I'm sure, it's yours too with Lu.

Rest in Peace, Lu.

And for her Friends and the FXHome-Crew: I wish you a lot of Power.

My condolences to all here family and friends. Keep on doing your good works HitFilm team, and when times seem hard, work a little harder in memory of her! My mum has just started radiotherapy after a hard bout of chemo so I know what you all went through and how hard it is for all involved. Celebrate the beauty that she was and treasure the fond memory's she left you with. Blessings and respects from Orion_uk.

Heartbreaking, fantastic tribute, must have been incredibly hard to film. She sounded amazing and an incredible inspiration. I wish i knew her :smile:

That is a very nice tribute to someone who clearly means so much to you all. As CranialFans said, that must have been a really difficult film to make.

Just remember guys: every time you fire up HitFilm, you're honouring Lu and the huge amount of work she put in to help make this product a reality. We really can't thank you enough for that.

I am sorry for the both the Hit Film and Lu's family's loss. I could tell by watching the tribute that she was truly loved by the members of the HF family. I wish I had had the pleasure to meet her and am sure she will be missed by all. I pray that God will give you all the strength to make it through your time of grief and need.

May God comfort all who knew Lucy and bring you peace. The tribute was a real tear jerker. I wish I could have known her and had a friend so supportive. No doubt I will think of her often as Simon said- every time I fire up HitFilm. Judging from the comments in the vid she was clearly as beautiful inside as she was out.

I was blessed to have been given an opportunity to work with you.
I'll always remember you Lu, your hardship, your smile, your qualities. You will always be an inspiration to us all and that is a something only the best can achieve. You were the best and we will miss you deeply. X
