New HitFilm promo: help us spread the word!

Posted by Simon K Jones on June 15, 2012

Believe it or not, we're approaching the first anniversary of HitFilm's release. That's a year in which a huge amount has happened and a lot of it is thanks to you guys. We thought it was time to update our product walkthrough video and you can find the spangly new version above.

Getting the word out about HitFilm is vital for the product's future success, so if any of you have blogs, Twitter feeds, Facebook pages or are members of other forums with audiences that might be (genuinely!) interested in HitFilm please do spread the video link around:

Obviously don't spam it, but if you know people that would be genuinely interested please do help us spread the word.

Done and done. I spoke to a guy on Youtube that uses After Effects and Nuke. He asked me a few questions about render passes and such, the next thing you know it's pretty late. Anyway I compared HitFilm to After Effects and Nuke and he was sold after about an hour or so after downloading the demo and playing with the particle engine. He loved the price and was super impressed with it's true 3D compositing capability.

I love the new promotion film, it shows practically everything from both Standard and Ultimate in a quick video. I love Hitfilm Ultimate, I would personally reccomend it to anyone starting out. It does all the great things Adobe After Effects does, at a fraction of the price. Keep up the great work guys. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

By the way, I even have a link to the Hitfilm website on my webpage. This is how much I believe in this software and in the company itself.

Interesting what you've come out with there Spydurhank. I'd be interested to see what Nuke users think of Hitfilm considering that Nuke is viewed as the No1 compositing software. I appreciate that Nuke is more node based but the stuff you can do in HF is nothing short of awesome.

I'll be sure to forward that link though

Thanks guys! Much appreciated.

Nuke is indeed a pretty epic bit of software and of course takes a very different approach to HitFilm. That's definitely reflected in the epic price difference!

Can anyone please tell me how to add slow motion to a video in hitfilm standard?

You can do so using the Speed effect.

HitFilm ROCKS!!!!! I hope to be able to have something more than popcorn videos to show one day soon. Depends on whether the theater group I'm with wants to work on a project idea.
I caught on to HitFilm much faster than AE. HF is much more user & cost friendly. Thanks for being there HF staff!
