Here is our newest video featuring the new derez effect from VGHS. We would like some feedback on things such as the cinematography, effects, and sound. You don't have to tell us about all of them, just choosing one is fine. If you guys could we would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Faster cuts and more close shots would make the fight a lot more exciting.

As far as critique goes, I second jonesbros- it's amazing what a little trimming of your clips can do for the dynamics of a fast paced scene. I've shot some fight stuff that looked pretty awful if you watched the raw takes but was able to get something respectable out of it by choosing good places to cut and speeding up certain key points in the action.

On the pro side, I have to congradulate you on a great idea. I love time paradox/loop stuff, and watching this for the first time gave me the slightest bit of chill in my spine when I saw what you did. Also, your on the right track with the sound effects you did for the fight scene, including the grunt pass. Level wise, I think the background audio could have been a bit louder but sound wise it was really good.

I look forward to seeing your next vid!

And more beards, people in the HitFilm community seem to love them, and if you don't have them god help you, you will never hear the end of it.

Ha, I really like this! Color grading was nice to.

I personally would have ended it at 1:13, at that point it was obvious it was going to keep on repeating, and that shot could a nice backdrop for credits, or something.

Either way, nice job

Thanks. I would also like to know about the color grading also. Did everyone like it or did some people dislike it?

The color grading worked well in my opinion. It helped give the video a surreal tone. I thought the concept was pretty interesting.
p.s. I really liked your "How 70's Music is better than Modern" video; very funny!

Thanks! It was a school project(A Persuasive Video)that I helped my friends with. Our teacher wasn't very...critical, and I think it got an A.
